This event was planned to raise money to be shared by the church and Help for Heroes.
£404 was raised. Thanks to all who helped to raise this money.

Our second Scarecrow competition had to be held indoors despite the fact that the day before and the day after were fine sunny days. English weather!

The Scarecrow competition held on July 14 was very popular and well supported. There were lots of entries and the difficult job of judging was entrusted to children's author David Webb. Band Concert 11 May 2013
We again welcomed the 2nd Rossendale Scout Band for a concert, led by their dedicated and skilful Musical Director, Graham Helm. They played a very varied selection of items which featured some of their talented young musicians as soloists. Graham seems to have the "knack" of bringing out the best in people. He is also a very witty commentator and is never short of a good joke!
We look forward to the next time.
A line of coins 30 June 2013
Last year we managed 80 metres of coins, worth over £300. This time the lines totalled 120 metres
